Dance-ensemble Phoenix is a very enthusiastic group of young dancers. It is part of Phoenix Apeldoorn, an organization for international dance, song and music. At the moment the group consist of 15 dancers. The group was founded in 1975.
The ensemble is specialized in presenting choreographies from Hungary, Rumania, Israel, Ireland, Slovakia and the Netherlands. The costumes worn during the performances come from the according region or are made to authentic example. The ensemble provides performances throughout the country at diverse occasions, such as; cultural markets, care facilities, themed parties or business diners. The ensemble has also participated in folkloric festivals in France, Hungary, China and England.
The dance-ensemble has a diverse international program and can provide you with a wide variety of performances, ranging from being part of a show to our own full-length theatre production.
