Szatmár

Szatmár is the area that lies in north-east Hungary and north-west Romania. In this choreography 2 boys dance with 6 girls. This sparkling dancing serial from Szatmár starts traditionally with Verbunk (initially a recruitment dancing for the army) after which slow and the fast csárdás follow.



Bodrogöz

Cast: 7 girls and 2 boys.

This dance is from the area arround the river Bodrog in the northeast of Hungary. The dance contains three different parts. At first a dance just for the girls, next to the dance they are also singing, secondly a Hatosztató and last but not least a Friss csárdás.

In the border area between Hungary and Croatia flows the river the Dráva. This dance is a Hungarian dance for 2 boys. The dancing and the music from this area show an interesting mix of Hungarian and Croatian influences.
